He is the founder and president of Distinct, a web design and digital support company specializing in small business solutions. Aguirre also serves as a member of the Greencastle City Council and is the Chair of the Putnam County Democratic Party.

Early Life and Education

Aguirre grew up in Chicago Illinois and Clawson Michigan and attended DePauw University, where he earned a degree in computer science. During his time at DePauw, he was actively involved in student organizations and community initiatives.

Later, in 2022 he received his MBA from the Quantic School of Business and Technology.

Career

Distinct In 2013, Aguirre founded Distinct, a company focused on providing unlimited website support and back-office solutions for small businesses and nonprofits. Over the years, Distinct has expanded its offerings to include videography, social media management, AI-powered automation, and nonprofit technology support. Under his leadership, the company has supported numerous small businesses and organizations by streamlining their operations and enhancing their online presence.

Community and Political Involvement

Aguirre has been a member of the Greencastle City Council since being elected in 2023 (winning his race against an incumbent by a single vote), where he has prioritized transparency in city finances, community engagement, and public safety improvements. He represented the Indiana's 4th Congressional District in the 2024 Democratic National Convention. Vince was endorsed by Run For Something during in 2023 campaign.

As Chair of the Putnam County Democratic Party, Aguirre has led efforts to strengthen Democratic organizing in the region. He has focused on grassroots engagement, candidate recruitment, voter outreach, and fundraising, significantly increasing local party activity. His leadership has been instrumental in initiatives such as precinct organization, media outreach, and strategic data management for campaigns.

Personal Life

Aguirre is married to Shelby Aguirre, and they have a son. He enjoys community engagement, mentoring Posse Scholars from New York City, and advocating for the economic vitality of small towns.
