He is the founder of Pubify Press, a leading book publishing and PR firm based in Florida, and a Principal partner at Ikonic Books.
Lopez specializes in brand management, creating media outreach programs, developing media strategy, coaching, guiding, consulting, social verification, and other marketing services. In his diversified career, Lopez has worked with several prolific clients and helped them successfully publish their books. Pubify Press is known for its vast range of services and features such as the 100% rights offered to the authors.[1][2]
Lopez is the author of the best-selling book ‘Excuses Excuses Which One Is Yours?’ and a seven times recipient of the Top National Publisher Award. He has been featured in several media outlets such as Yahoo, NY Weekly, Anchor, Disrupt Magazine,Zee5, and others.[3][4][5]
Early life and education
Lopez, in 1989, went to the Latin American School and AG Theological School, where he studied Bible Education and Pastoral Sociology.
Career
Lopez started his career in 1997 when he joined WorldCom as a Global Account Manager. He worked for over two years with this firm, during which he was responsible for bringing in new accounts, selling hosting solutions, and developing business strategies.[6]
In 2000, Lopez joined Wave Systems Corp. as a National Account Manager. He worked for over six years at this firm, during which he brought in over $15.5M worth of new sales for the company. Lopez also assisted in the launch of an O.T.C company to NASDAQ.
Lopez started working at Xulon Press, a leading Self-Publishing Company as a book publisher.[7] Lopez also worked at several other recognized publishing houses during this time such as Salem Media Group, Mill City Press, Liberty Hill Press and others.[8]
Lopez founded Publify Press in 2020. It is a book and media publishing company based in Florida.[9] He established this company with the aim to empower authors and help them become legitimate best sellers. The company also offers a White Label service.
Apart from his career as a publishing consultant, Lopez was also involved in several other ventures, such as his joint venture with Cesar Pina, a renowned real estate agent. They started Ikonic Books in order to release Pina’s debut book - Flipping Keys. Ikonic Books gives every author full ownership of their work, 100 % royalties, and distribution.[10]
