Mack is an American entrepreneur, attorney, adjunct professor, author, and speaker.[1][2][3] Mack is the founder of the Women Serve on Boards movement, SunLaw, and Notes To My (Legal) Self platform that works for empowering women attorneys.[4] She currently serves as CEO of Parley Pro, a Lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, and a Fellow at CodeX at The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics.[5][6][7][8][9]
Template:Section Olga Vitalyevna Kotlyarevskaya was born in Ukraine and grew up in Siberia, Russia. She and her parents immigrated to San Francisco, California, United States, when she was thirteen.[10][11]
After completing George Washington High School (San Francisco), Olga enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley, in 1999, where she pursued a bachelor degrees in Economics and Political Science.[12]During her time at the University, Olga became a Robert and Colleen Haas Independent Research Fellow and a Grace Scholar at the San Francisco Foundation. She graduated in 2002 as the Valedictorian of the Political Science Department and with the highest distinction in general scholarship overall.[13][14][15][16]
In 2003, after her graduation, Olga joined the School of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, where she studied for three years. While completing her J.D., Olga became a Martin S. Depper and Estelle D. Depper Scholar.[17]
Template:Section During her time at law school, Mack worked as Legal Liaison for Yahoo Berkeley Labs for a year.[18][19][20][21]
Mack started her career in 2005 when she joined Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati as a Litigation Associate.[22][23]
In 2009, Mack joined Pacific Art League as a General Counsel. In 2011 Mack left the league to join Visa as an Associate Counsel, where she worked for three years.[24][25]
In 2014, Mack joined Zoosk Inc. as an Assistant General Counsel, where she worked for a year and then started working for ClearSlide, a SaaS-based Sales Engagement platform, as a General Counsel. Mack left ClearSlide in 2017.[26]
Mack founded Women Serve on Boards in 2014, a movement dedicated to advocating the inclusion of women on corporate boards.[27][28][29]She became a lecturer at the University of California, School of Law, in 2015. In 2017, Mack founded Notes To My (Legal) Self, a blog and podcast platform dedicated to the future of law.[30][31][32][33]
In 2018, Mack was appointed by the California Governor Edmund Gerald "Jerry" Brown, Jr. as the State of California Commissioner for a year at the California Law Revision Commission.[34][35] In the same year, Mack joined Quantstamp Inc., a smart contract security protocol as the Vice President of Strategy.[36] Mack was appointed as the CEO and Chairwoman of Parley Pro, a Computer Software firm based in Los Altos, in 2019.[37] In the same year, she also became a Fellow at CodeX, The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics.[38][39]
Mack is also a contributing writer and columnist for publications including Bloomberg Law,[40] Newsweek, Breaking Media (the Above the Law), High-Performance Counsel,[41] Venture Beat, Association of Corporate Counsel, and others.[42][43][44]
