Hamzic is best known for achieving an undefeated singles and doubles record playing at the collegiate level his sophomore season going on to win a National Championship and become an All American.[14]

Hamzic has worked alongside tennis royalty Nick Bollettieri.[15] Hamzic is currently an academy and travel coach. He continues to train and help players reach NCAA and professional level. He has been featured in several media outlets including, Forbes, Yahoo, Business Insider, Influencive, and others.[16][17]

Early life and education

Emir Hamzic was born on January 17, 1997, at Saint Peters Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey to Serbian Parents. Hamzic quickly became one of the most elite athletes to come out of the state of New Jersey and the nation. During his junior years Hamzic served as a hitting partner for ATP tennis player Alex Bogomolov Jr., who was ranked as high as #33 in the world.

Hamzic stopped playing high school tennis after his junior year of high school to start competing internationally pursuing his career professionally. Before winning a national championship at 20 years old, he turned to a career as a professional model in order to financially support his career as a professional tennis player. He has walked in events such as New York Fashion Week. Hamzic Graduated from Kean University with honors in Elizabeth, New Jersey where he majored in exercise science ending his last semester with a 4.0 GPA.[18]

Career

After accomplishing his goal of winning a national collegiate championship at 20 years old he had other opportunities to pursue his career playing professional tennis.[19] Hamzic decided to dedicate all of his time and efforts to coaching full time. Hamzic has worked alongside tennis royalty Nick Bollettieri.[20] In 2019, Hamzic established HAMZIC All American Training, a private tennis coaching business serving the tri-state area, but now runs in Chicago, Illinois. Hamzic is also the Director of High-Performance Tennis at Lakeshore Sport & Fitness Lincoln Park in Chicago.[21][22] Hamzic recently joined Division 1 school Chicago States tennis coaching staff on Jan. 15, 2022. He is the Cougars men’s and women’s tennis teams volunteer assistant coach.[23][24] In his role at Chicago State University, Hamzic assists with practices and match coaching.[25][26][27]
