She is the co-founder of the G.L.O.W. Conferences,[1] an annual leadership conference that helps worldwide executives and business leaders develop skills.[2]

Khousadian hosts the Empowered Living podcast, which she started in May 2023. As the host of Empowering Living, Khousadian is a leading figure in the internet-driven popularization of self-improvement, personal growth, interpersonal skills, and knowledge. She is a professor at Sierra States University, Ezra University, CALUM’s and California University of Management and Sciences for Undergraduate, Master, and Doctoral programs.[3][4]

In 2023, Khousadian was recognized with the Global Recognition Award, was named 50 Under 50 by the NYC Journal, Top Author 2023 by the US Talk Radio Show, and Top Entrepreneur 2023 by the NY Weekly Tony Robbins Edition.[5]

Early life and education

Khousadian was born and raised in an Armenian family in Los Angeles, California. Her upbringing was influenced by her mother, an educator who instilled in her the value of education.

In 2010, Khousadian obtained a Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies and Sciences, majoring in Special Education, from California State University, Northridge. She holds a Master’s in Educational Psychology and a Doctorate in Education and Psychology in Organizational Leadership from Pepperdine University, graduating in 2016.

Khousadian also holds various certifications in Neuro Linguistic Programming, Life Coaching, and Hypnosis.

Career

Khousadian has been teaching and writing for over 17 years. During that time, she has taught every grade from elementary to graduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs.[6]

Her career as a teacher began in 2006 in Los Angeles, where she continues to provide private instruction. From 2006 to 2016, she held positions at elementary schools and universities. In 2014, Khousadian joined Pepperdine University. After initially working as an editor and a teacher’s assistant, she later became a research assistant at the university.[7]

Khousadian is a professor at Sierra States University, Ezra University and California University of Management and Sciences (CALUMS), where she teaches MBA, psychology, and doctoral students. Her other university affiliations are Caroline University and Bright Beginnings.[8]

In 2018, Khousadian, along with Dr. Stephen Adamu, co-founded G.L.O.W. Conferences, an annual leadership event. The acronym "G.L.O.W." represents "Global Leaders for Organizational Welfare."[9] The conference, held once a year, focuses on success strategies, teamwork, talent management, leadership skills, and the enhancement of community welfare.[10]

The organization also dedicates a percentage of its profits to the City of Hope Cancer Treatment Foundation. The annual conference serves as a platform for worldwide leaders to discuss current topics, fostering collaboration and the exchange of innovative ideas.[11]

As an educator, Khousadian has authored and developed courses focused on organizational change, leadership skills, communication, and interpersonal skills catering to personal development needs. She has also developed a children’s curriculum for elementary school children. The courses are available in digital lectures and PDFs on the website.[12]

Khousadian is a published children’s book author, having written two books, “To The Star” (2022) and “The Adventures of Chloe: Chloe Moves to Hollywood” (2023). Other print publications include a book on self-improvement and personal growth titled "100 Questions to Unleash Your Inner Potential" (2023).[13]

Khousadian also hosts a podcast, "Empowered Living," accessible on various platforms like Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, and Audible, that offers daily insights and inspiration to fuel positive change across over 25 episodes, the latest of which aired on November 13, 2023.[14]

Khousadian is also a keynote speaker, actively engaging in industry conferences and workshops where she shares her insights on leadership, business ethics, entrepreneurship, and related topics.
