Born in Riverside, CA, Kivo has worked as a PR expert with corporations and individual clients to diversify their sales channels, and create brand awareness programs to help them gain search visibility. Kivo has received several awards and accolades in his diversified career of over a decade. He is also the co-author of the award-winning and bestselling marketing guide book titled The Growth Hacking Book.[6]

Under Kivo’s leadership, Authority Titans attracted a lot clients and in 2023, it was acquired by Newsanchored, a platform for news aggregrators.[7][8] He has worked with several high profile clientele and is known to build close professional relationships with media outlets like Forbes, Inc. Magazine, Entrepreneur,[9] Huffington Post, and other notable publications.[10][11][12][13]

Early life and education

Kivo was born on February 27, 1994, and grew up in Riverside, CA. He developed a liking for hockey at the age of four, going on to win multiple national championships and flourish in the junior hockey league. In 2016, Kivo enrolled at the American Public University, where he pursued a bachelor’s degree in marketing for three years. During his time at the University, Kivo worked part-time as a firefighter recruit at Norfolk VA Fire-Rescue. he received an alluring offer to play hockey at a Boston, Massachusetts, college. Sadly, a wrist injury suffered during a crucial game crushed Kivo's hopes of turning his talents into a professional career and kept him from joining the National Hockey League.

Career

Kivo started his career when he was still pursuing his college education. In 2015, he founded the Kivo Media Group, a PR and marketing agency that offers a vast range of services and helps the clients to gain media recognition as well as scale their businesses. Within five years of its inception, under the leadership of Kivo, The Kivo Media Group has forged long-lasting relationships with renowned journalists and worked with several high-profile clientele, becoming the fastest growing digital publication in North America.

In 2016, Kivo joined HuffPost, where he worked for over a year as a contributor. In 2017 he also became a contributor to Forbes and Entrepreneur Media, where he worked for over a year.[14] Kivo also joined The Young Entrepreneur Council (YEC) in 2017.[15]

In 2018, Kivo founded MentionWorth, another public relations agency specializing in media placements, book publishing, digital billboard ads, and podcast interviews.[16][17] In the same year, he joined the Inc. Magazine, where he worked for over a year as a contributor.[18]

In 2018, Kivo founded Kivo Daily, a leading digital media, technology, and brand-building company specializing in featuring entrepreneurs and internet marketers in all the major media publications. Kivo Daily also serves in itself as a highly acclaimed media platform where the most sought after individuals and entrepreneurs get featured.[19]

Kivo, during his career, has advised several prolific clients, Fortune 500 companies, celebrities, nonprofits, and executives.[20] He has also co-authored a marketing book titled The Growth Hacking Book that won him Amazon’s Best Selling Author award. Kivo was the first person in the world to publicize a CBD company on a billboard in Times Square, NYC.[21][22]

In 2023, Kivo announced that Authority Titans has been acquired by NewsAnchored and he was named as CMO of NewsAnchored after the acquisition.[23] After the acquisition, he also started to work as PR consultant to help organizations with PR and branding.

Kivo offers specialized programs tailored to entrepreneurs, business leaders, and authors. His accelerator program provides participants access to exclusive business strategies and marketing insights to enhance their industry presence. Additionally, Kivo operates the Best-Seller Accelerator program, aiming to guide authors to achieve Amazon best-seller status within 30 days.[24]

In June 2024, Kivo launched "The Dillon Kivo Show," a podcast for entrepreneurs and personal branding enthusiasts seeking to advance their brands. It features expert interviews and actionable insights and aims to guide listeners in starting, growing, and scaling their brands for business success.[25]

Kivo is the recipient of Amazon Best Selling Author and has been listed as one of the Top 30 Under 30 by The US Reporter.

Books

In March 2022, Kivo's book The Authority Playbook: How to Become #1 Authority in Your Niche became the number 1 best seller in the Media and Communications Industry category on Amazon.
