Avery is known for winning the 2012 World Championship of Public Speaking[1] for Toastmasters International at the age of 25 and becoming the youngest World Champion[2] in history.
Avery is an emmy-award winning journalist[3] and has written three books that have been translated into five languages including Speaker Leader Champion, Motivating Millennials and YES, OH YES, SHE did. He has delivered more than 500 keynotes on every continent in the world and is the co-creator of #31DaysofKindness[4], a global effort in bringing people together to do selected acts of kindness every August.
Template:Section Avery was born Ryan Austin Avery in Houston, TX on May 2, 1987 and changed his name to Ryan Austin Turner Avery after marrying his wife Chelsea Turner Avery in 2010. He legally has two middle names. He has two kids named Atlas and Zurich. Avery started his first successful company at the age of 14, experienced the growth of business failure, and reinvented himself and his organization to now successfully run his keynoting company with his wife since 2012.
Template:Section Avery started his professional career as the Director of Marketing at Special Olympics Oregon where he worked there for two years starting in 2010. Following his resignation, Avery and his wife Chelsea, started AveryToday, Inc. on December 12, 2012. Avery is also known for growing fast within the professional keynote speaking circuit for his work with the North American Tour he coordinated and for being the co-founder of How to Be a Speaker, LLC. Ryan is know majorly known for headlining conferences and delivering 75 keynotes a year around the world for Fortune 500 companies, non-profits, organizations, associations and universities.
Template:Section His first World Record attempt was a failed attempt at breaking the Guinness World Record for the Largest Book Signing[5] in history where he sold and signed 1,300 books at Colorado State University on April 16, 2014. Unsuccessful with that attempt, he tried for his next world record with his wife Chelsea and on December 8, 2015 they broke the world record for being the youngest couple to professionally speak on all seven continents[6]. He has several other world records he has broken like the largest book pyramid[7] and more.
