Josh Hix

Early Life and Education
Hix earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2003. He later obtained a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School in 2010.[4][5]
Career
Hix and Nick Taranto co-founded Plated in 2012 with the goal of providing clients with chef-designed recipes and fresh, pre-portioned ingredients.[6] The company's 2014 appearance on the television program "Shark Tank" brought them widespread notice.[7] Albertsons Companies purchased Plated in September 2017 for about $300 million. Prior to his departure in January 2019, Hix was the CEO.[5][4]
Following his tenure at Plated, Hix co-founded Season Health, a company where he is currently the CEO.[8] Season Health combines food with healthcare to tackle chronic diseases by providing personalized dietary advice and meal delivery.[5][2][3]
