He is a serial entrepreneur, best known for his ventures in the hospitality industry and as the founder of Red Bear Winery and Olivetta.[1] Jordan is the founder of Jordan Hospitality, a parent company that invests in and grows hospitality projects in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area. He is also the founder of EnviTours, a sustainable travel company, and has worked for the United States Congress.[2]
Born in Oakland, California, Jordan's interest in wine began during his time living in Spain, where he was exposed to the culture surrounding wine. He eventually founded Red Bear Winery, which is known for its smooth and refreshing taste. Jordan has been recognized for his contributions to the hospitality industry, including being named Modern Luxury's Modern Man of the Year. In addition to his business ventures, Jordan is also a philanthropist and has been involved in various charitable causes.[3]
Early life and education
Jordan was born on 19 July 1991 in Oakland, CA to Wayne Jordan and Quinn Delaney. He spent his childhood in the SF Bay Area. Right from a very young age, Jordan always had a focus on travel, hospitality, and restaurants. Today, I still use my passions as a child in my business life
Jordan attended the University of Maryland, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science, and the Universitat de Barcelona, where he earned a Master's Graduate Degree in Business and Tourism.
Career
Jordan started his entrepreneurial journey with Jordan Hospitality, a parent company that invests in and grows hospitality projects. The company has invested in several businesses in the Los Angeles and San Francisco Bay Area, including restaurants, tourism/travel, yacht charters, luxury transportation services, and a winery. Jordan's passion for wine developed during his time living abroad in Barcelona and Madrid, where he immersed himself in the culture surrounding wine. After his family acquired the T Bar T vineyard in Alexander Valley, Jordan launched Red Bear Winery, which produces a smooth, refreshing, yet powerful taste.[4]
In addition to his hospitality ventures, Jordan has made a name for himself in the film industry, with his first role in the upcoming film Deadlock,[5] directed by Jared Cohn. He also serves as an executive producer for the film. Jordan has been recognized for his accomplishments, receiving the Modern Luxury Modern Man of the Year award.
Jordan is committed to sustainable tourism and founded EnviTours, a luxury and eco-conscious travel service that allows voyagers to give back to the destinations they visit. Jordan has also contributed to the dining scene in Los Angeles, co-creating the Euro-inspired restaurant Issima and its Mediterranean counterpart, Olivetta, both located in West Hollywood.
