Early life and education
Nguyen was born on May 15, 1984, in Silver Spring, Maryland, USA. He attended the University of Maryland, where he earned his Bachelor’s in Neurology and Physiology. David then pursued his Masters in Biomedical Sciences at Barry University. Thereafter, Nguyen earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University in Florida.
Career
After Dental school, Nguyen completed a one-year advanced general practice residency at Lutheran Medical Center where he focused on complex oral maxillofacial surgery and full-mouth cosmetic rehabilitation cases. David is a certified Gold Invisalign provider and specializes in Cosmetic dentistry.[4]
David has worked in different industry verticals, from graphic design, product development, marketing, and Dentistry. He is the founder of three distinguished organizations—URBN Dental, The Doctors Marketing, and Cocogentle.[5]
As the founder of Cocogentle, David has worked together with well-known athletes, industry leaders, and celebrities to create a product that would allow them to embrace brighter and healthier smiles. Cocogentle formulates enamel-safe teeth whitening strips that are peroxide-free and enriched with coconut oil.[6]
Personal life
Besides work, David enjoys playing tennis, sculpting, and relishing local art scenes. He also does volunteer work with local charities. Nguyen is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
