He is the founder of the GaS Digital Network, a leading audio, and video podcast network.[1] Sutton is also the creator of The SDR Show, formerly signed with All Things Comedy, one of the largest comedy podcast networks before starting his own network. The SDR Show is a podcast which he started with Big Jay Oakerson, a renowned comedian.[2][3][4][5]

Sutton has over two decades of experience in the entertainment industry and has hosted numerous concerts, TV shows, and podcasts including The Tour Bus, a nationally broadcast rock radio show (that was on 100+ radio stations in the US), the SDR show (that has over 400 episodes), and Good Sugar (that has 80 episodes). He is known for contributing his services to creating awareness about rock culture and has interviewed a vast range of artists including Gene Simmons, Alice Cooper, Ozzy Osbourne, Brian Johnson - alongside mainstream icons like Mark Cuban, Neil Degrasse Tyson, as well as cast members of SNL and many others.[6]

Early life and education

Sutton was born on 31 December 1969 in Brooklyn and raised in Manhattan.

Later, Sutton enrolled in Albany State University of New York, where he pursued a bachelor’s of arts degree in Business Administration. During college, Sutton, along with his four friends, founded Monkey Business Crew, a nightclub promotion company, which helped him take a strong foothold in the entertainment sector.

Sutton founded Monkey Business Crew, a nightclub promotion company when he was in college, where he worked for over a decade. During this tenure, he worked for several renowned nightclubs including Limelight, Palladium, and Lamour. In 1996, Sutton became the general manager of Ferrier Bistro, where he worked for over four years.[8]

In 1999, Sutton became the producer and host of The Tour Bus Radio, a nationally syndicated rock radio show that was rebroadcast internationally on the Internet and was syndicated in 100 stations across the country. It was one of the first radio shows to play exclusively 1980s rock, including Van Halen, AC/DC, Mötley Crüe, Aerosmith, and Def Leppard. Under his supervision, The Tour Bus Radio acquired over one million listeners in the US. For this radio show, Sutton co-hosted with the likes of Matt Murray, Stacy X, and Melissa Krahnke.[9]

In 2014, Sutton became the co-host and producer of The Sex, Drugs & Rock N Roll Show (The SDR Show). Since then, he has interviewed several rock stars, porn stars, comedians, and other prolific industry experts, including Ace Frehley, Steven Dorf, Jennifer Esposito, and the Impractical Jokers. Later, The SDR show became a part of All Things Comedy, one of the largest comedy podcast networks.[10][11][12]

The following year, Sutton founded the GaS Digital Network, popular audio, and video podcast network that as of 2021, broadcasts over 20 shows covering multiple topics ranging from Rock, Wrestling, Comedy, and others.[13][14][15] It has since then garnered over 1.4 million listeners a week. Multiple prolific artists such as Jamey Jasta of Hatebreed and Robb Flynn of Machine Head have shows on this network.[16]

Throughout his career, Sutton has hosted numerous concerts, TV shows, and podcasts with several industry giants such as VH1, MTV, and others. He has garnered worldwide fame for hosting The SDR Show that covers all things related to sex, drugs & rock N roll, and the Good Sugar Podcast that covers all things related to health and wellness. He and his company GaS Digital also produced two #1 comedy albums in 2017 & 2019.[17][18][19][20]
