Early life and education

Stovall was born and raised in Texas, United States. Her parents were entrepreneurs, instilling in her an entrepreneurial mindset from a young age. She attended the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2018, focusing on building high-performing minority businesses. She also studied at the Dallas College North Lake Campus.

Career

Stovall began her career at the General Motors Arlington plant and was later appointed as a liaison representative by Paulina Sandoval. In 2005, she became a resident engineer at ZF Group.[5]

In 2013, Stovall and Sandoval co-founded Assured Quality Systems in Arlington, Texas.[6] AQS specializes in operational risk management, offering quality and inventory solutions through product inspection, process audits, sequencing and kitting, packaging, warehousing, and engineering solutions.[7] The company serves clients across North America, including Ford Motor Company, Target, ZF, and Adient.[8]

Stovall is committed to mentoring Millennials, Gen Z, and minority entrepreneurs to uplift and support the next generation of business leaders.[9] She serves on the board of directors for the Women Business Council Southwest. She also mentors the Women Business Council Southwest Women of Color, and Million Dollar Women, New York.[10]

Awards and recognitions

Stovall has received several notable accolades throughout her career.

  • In 2022, she was named the Women Business Enterprise of the Year by the Women Business Council Southwest (WBCS).[11]
  • She received the Most Admired CEO Award from the Dallas Business Journal in 2022.
  • In 2020, she was recognized as one of the Dallas Business Journal's 40 Under 40.
  • Ernst & Young recognized her as an EY Entrepreneurial Winning Woman of the Year in 2018.
  • Yahoo Finance featured Stovall as part of the Stellantis and the National Black Business League's National Black Supplier Development initiative.
  • She has been recognized in the Wall Street Journal and the Dallas Business Journal.
