For over 15 years, Sinoway has studied and worked with Harvard Business School, Professor Emeritus, Howard H. Stevenson[5], described by Forbes as Harvard’s "lion of entrepreneurship" in a 2011 article [6].
Sinoway and Stevenson are the co-founders of the Center for Entrepreneurial Thinking (CET), Cambridge, Massachusetts, Massachusetts based resource for the broadly defined topic of entrepreneurship. CET helps organizations create an entrepreneurial culture and management practices.
Sinoway received a Bachelor’s Degree from Cornell University and a Master’s Degree from Harvard University[7][8]
Howard’s Gift
Sinoway’s book, Howard’s Gift: Uncommon Wisdom to Inspire Your Life’s Work, was inspired by his relationship as a former student and colleague of Stevenson’s. It was published by St. Martin's Press|St. Martin’s Press on October 2, 2012, and has been translated into Korean, Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Japanese[3].
Howard’s Gift features insight and conversations on entrepreneurship that can be applied to professional decisions on any scale. It features profiles of entrepreneurial thinkers, such as journalist, Soledad O'Brien, media executive, Mark Lazarus and nonprofit leader, Nancy Brinker[9][10].
Career
Sinoway’s career has entailed leadership roles in the areas of strategy, partnership development and external relations. His experience consists of senior level roles among large organizations and non-profits including Cendant, After-School All-Stars, Harvard University development office, Axcess Worldwide[11], Worth (magazine) and Mood Media.
Sinoway is currently the Managing Director for the Center for Entrepreneurial Thinking (CET), which has been pursuing work related to innovation and entrepreneurship in collaboration with Stevenson[12]
