He is the founder of Teamjohnhill Corporation, a Highly successful Entertainment platform that facilitates a vast range of services such as consulting, artist development, and collaborative projects.[1] Hill Also served as Vice president of Rap-A-Lot Midwest and is now an Executive Liaison with several national and international music conglomerates.[2][3][4]
Apart from having a successful career as an executive producer, Hill also contributed to the creation of Herstory, a trio from completely different backgrounds. Hill is best known for working alongside leading industry giants including Juelz Santana, Jason Derulo, Young Berg, Ray J, 50 Cent, Omarion, Gwen Stefani, and Pharrell Williams.[5][6][7][8][9]
Hill is best known for his work in TP3 Reloaded, R.Kelly, a Grammy-nominated album, and is a multi-platinum award winner.[10] Hill has even been named the Entertainment Man of the Year with features in numerous media outlets, including LA Wire, NY Weekly, Quebec News Tribune, London Journal, and others.[11][12]
Early life and education
Hill was born on 10 August 1985 to John J Hill Jr. and Belinda A Hill. He grew up with Trevor Hill in Chicago, IL. When he was seven years old, Hill began playing multiple musical instruments, including guitar, piano, and drums. Soon he began his classical training in Opera. In 1991, Hill performed his first solo, accompanied by Jazz Musician Lucius Bell Jr. at age 7. A year later, he performed for Mayor Daley at the memorial service for Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King.
Hill studied at Carl Schurz High School. During his time there, Hill won the highest honors, four years in a row, competing in the All-City Operatic Competition comprising over 500 students. While attending high school, he was pursued by several colleges, including Julliard of New York City. In 2003 he became a member of Mrs. Maggie Daley's artist apprentice program. He even won a college scholarship to the Illinois Music of Winnetka.
Just after attending the Music Institute of Winnetka for one year, Hill was already lead vocals at the BET 25th Anniversary Show. Later, Hill attended Wright College and The Juilliard School of Music. Hill later Received his PhD in Music Business from the Thessalonika A Embry, University.[13]
Career
Hill started his career right out of college when he became a radio personality at Mancow, writing skits and parodies. He soon transformed his rising reputation into a brand by establishing Team John Hill. TeamJohnHill offers a vast range of services such as Entertainment Consulting, Music Production, Model Consulting, Event Hosting, Songwriting, Film production, Music Development, Models, Social Media Influencer Consulting, and Entertainment Consulting.[14][15][16][17][18]
Hill’s career springboard after his rendezvous with R. Kelly in the Water Tower in Downtown Chicago. Soon Hill started writing, producing, and performing on R. Kelly Live: The Light It Up Tour in 2007. He even played an integral role in the making of TP3 Reloaded by R.Kelly, which was nominated for a Grammy Award.[19] This project led Hill to even more opportunities writing and producing for artists such as Juelz Santana, Jason Derulo, Young Berg, Ray J, 50 Cent, Omarion, Gwen Stefani, and Pharrell Williams.[20][21][22][23]
After the release of his debut song “Cinema,” Hill acquired attention in Eastern Europe, where he started a producing career with Romanian singer/songwriter Inna. As of 2021, Hill aims at producing and promoting up-and-coming artists in the music industry. He is also an advocate for mental health and has participated in raising awareness for the same. Apart from that, Hill also owns a jerk sauce business with his family.[24][25][26][27][28]

Personal life
Hill married in 2007 and was married for five years. He has two children named Nevaeh and Tyson. Hill is fluent in English, Spanish, Romanian, and Polish.
Hill’s father was amongst the first 100 people to perish in Chicago from the deadly COVID-19 virus. He is close friends with Grammy-award winner, Reallydoe.
